Management of sports sponsorship for Kalixa prepaid MasterCard

Fifth Dimension was responsible for maximising the value from Kalixa's sponsorship of former Open Champion Paul Lawrie.

To maximise the value of the image rights within the sponsorship, we enlisted reknowned magazine photographer Neale Haynes to help us create a set of creative and sports imagery associating Paul and Kalixa. These would be widely re-used both by Kalixa and other media agencies.

Fifth Dimension built a dedicated microsite, to act as a focus and allow clear communication around the sponsorship.

Working with Golf Monthly we ran a range of offline ads to promote the Kalixa brand and online competitions for VIP golf days hosted by Paul Lawrie. Additional competitions and golf days were run in Germany and with corporate partners of the group.

Further promotions were used to build on the golf association, such as tickets to the Ryder Cup, courtesy of MasterCard.

Additional partnerships were secured with golf brands such as Titleist, Srixon and De Vere to maximise the appeal to the target audience.
